Dear God (prayer)

God, please hold my heart in the coldest nights.
Don't let me fall,
don't let me cry.
I feel a pain so deep inside...
Will you stay with me in the hardest times?

I see many faces but can't recognize
who's going to be mean,
who's going to be fine.
I'm feeling so lost every day in life.
Maybe I have the answers
but I'm not too wise...

I'm missing the fireflies,
send them back to me,
You know that I need them,
you know how I feel...

You keep on those messages,
I am so confused...
Do You want me to escape
or You want me to fight?

My soul isn't in peace,
my mouth's pleading to shout,
my eyes are missing shine
while my breath in going down.

Show me the light I'm willing,
only one, the one to get close
to the place where I can find Freedom,
to the place where I can feel Love.
